GTA 6 on PS4 and Xbox One
No. GTA 6 is not coming to PS4 or Xbox One. It runs on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and that is the entire list.

Why the old consoles were left behind
GTA 5 shipped on PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2013, so plenty of people reasonably expect the same again. The difference is the gap. GTA 5 arrived at the end of a console generation; GTA 6 arrives six years into the current one, and the PS4 hardware is now thirteen years old.
If you are still on a PS4 or Xbox One and you want to play GTA 6, you need a new console. That is the honest answer, and it is better to know now than in November.
What about Switch 2?
Not announced. Some shops list a Switch 2 edition, but Rockstar has said nothing, and a shop listing is not an announcement. A former Rockstar designer has publicly said a Switch 2 version would make little sense. Unconfirmed
Frequently asked questions
Is GTA 6 coming to PS4?
No. The confirmed platforms are PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. There is no PS4 version and none has been announced.
ConfirmedIs GTA 6 coming to Xbox One?
No. Xbox Series X and Series S only. Xbox One is not supported.
ConfirmedDoes it run on PS5 Digital Edition and Xbox Series S?
Yes. Both are current-generation consoles and both are supported. The Series S is the least powerful of them, so expect it to be the weakest version, but it is a supported platform.
ConfirmedCould a PS4 version arrive later?
Extremely unlikely. The PS4 launched in 2013 and Rockstar built this game for current hardware. Nothing suggests a back-port.
UnconfirmedWill cloud streaming let me play it on an old console?
Rockstar has said nothing about streaming. Do not plan around it.
